I absolutely love salmon, I try and eat it once a week. I found the perfect recipe to pair with it and it is so easy!

- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons lemon pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound of salmon

- Whisk together the ingredients above and pour in a large zip lock bag. Put the salmon skin side facing up in the bag and place in the fridge. Allow to marinade for 6 to 8 hours. *Side note - I do this in the morning before I leave for work so it is all ready for me when I come home!
- Preheat the broiler and place the rack about 6 inches away from the heat source. Remove salmon from the marinade and place on a baking sheet with the skin side facing down. Discard the extra marinade.
- Cook the salmon under the broiler for 7 to 10 minutes or until the salmon flakes. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
