So I realize that it has been awhile since my last post, and I took a break from my blog because there has been so much happening in my life, sometimes I forget to sit down and reflect and thats why I finally came back! I am officially moved to Boston, started grad school with one semester done, nannying on the side and enjoying life!
Let me start with Boston. My boyfriend and myself uprooted our life and officially moved to Boston this past September. I feel like it was ages ago but it was such a good decision for us. We are both city people and love the atmosphere of Boston, that bars and shopping are so close and that there is so much to explore. Unfortunately with the glooming winter we aren't able to do as much as I would like right now but so excited for the nice weather to come to explore the city! We sorta of like our apartment, its an adjustment from living in a house and we have to live by other peoples rules which at times sucks. Our dogs love it and love to meet new dogs every day. It has been a change not seeing my family every week but we try and see them and our friends as much as possible. I also like the separation and the distance because it has given me the opportunity to grow into my own and become my own person and really discover who I am without my family.
I started school and I LOVE it! I never thought I would love going back to school so much but I really think that Early Education is my calling and I love the school I am going to. AND to top it all off I got 4.0 for my first semester! I never have been more proud of myself before. Going back to school does have its downsides, I do not work as much and had to find a nanny job because I needed something flexible for my schedule. I love the family I nanny for and the kids are so great. Sometimes it can get super stressful balancing two little kids and I have my moments of why am I doing this but it has so many more rewards. My boyfriend Matthew, found a job right away when moving up here but hated it after a month, so with some more looking finally found a perfect match working for Hasbro INC, (the toy company!) and its the coolest job ever and even more he's really happy there which makes me happy. Money is tight since I am not working a real job so he has to take on the majority of the financial burden but he has been a great sport about everything and supporting me along the way.
Working out and the Disney Half! Oh boy how time passes and I can't believe how my working out routine has changed. I am going to do a full Disney recap but spoiler alert we had a blast, can't wait to go back and I PR my half time (in the pouring rain) but more to come on that. So I have always experimented with working out and when I was training for the half I was doing mainly cardio and running a lot, before that I did the 21 Day Fix as I have posted and I hated it. It was way to constricted for me and I saw no results but I will be talking more about this later as well. Well after the half I need a change and found an amazing new workout routine thanks to my friends and signed up for a program, that has online support a full workout and eating plan. Its amazing and I really think that I am going to see results.
I am looking to stay with blogging this time even though in a few weeks when I go back to school I am going to be swamped! But I don't see that stopping me because even from school, work, and the boy I will need a break to just write my thoughts down and just release my thoughts. Well thats all for now!
